Contemporary candle holders

Collection of contemporary candle holders and decorative pieces for the home.

The designs for these steel candle holders are inspired by natural forms. As with his sculpture Adam Hayes strips back organic shapes to their bare essentials and gives them a raw industrial look. These designs start life on a sketch pad. Adam then draws them on the computer as vector images, preparing them for an industrial laser cutter. After the components have been cut he then welds them together.

The candelabra are made from 4mm (5/32″) sheet steel and are finished with a light colourless lacquer. This allows the natural colours of the metal to show through.
